In the model used in the Game, if there is replanting the vegetation will develop sufficiently to become helmeted honeyeater habitat after 10 years.
Any real population is eventually limited by shortages of resources. Helmeted honeyeater population growth will be limited when the combined sizes of their home ranges fills the available forest habitat. This upper limit to their population size is called the carrying capacity of the environment.
Carrying capacity depends on bell miner competition, fire, and habitat replanting.
